Hello anglers,
Today we woke up to a yellowtail bite with fish from 25 to 35 pounds.
Once the sky started to get a little gray, the tuna pushed the yellows out
of the way. The tuna bit steady pretty much the rest of the day.
The size of the fish today were a little bigger than yesterday with the
majority 28 to 55 pounds. The picture that is enclosed is of a 55 pound
yellowfin caught by Chet Benson of Anchorage Alaska. We have got allot of
this size tuna, we are going to stay here tomorrow and concentrate on bigger
ones.
The Aloha Spirit runs 5 AM trips out of CISCOs in Oxnard. We target White Seabass, Calico Bass, Yellowtail and Halibut when available. We also will run Rockfish and Lingcod Specials. Call CISCOs at (805) 382-1612 or BOOK ONLINE.
