Bass, Stripers and Trout have been the most active at Lake Castaic

The Department of Fish and Game will stock Castaic Lake during the week of June 26th. Still many trout are out there biting spinners, spoons, and PowerBait. They are hanging around both the Main and West Ramps.
Largies can still be found almost anywhere on the lake. Elizabeth Canyon, Old SS, Hawks Nest are all great places to start when looking for largies. Flukes, Senkos, and other plastics and a few top water baits have been keeping these bass active.
The Stripers are still slowly getting better but are not consistent where they want to stay. Sardines and Nightcrawlers are the bait of choice for most anglers bringing in stripers. Kong Island and the West Cliffs in the ski Arm are great spots to lure in some stripers on cut bait. Trout swimbaits are catching a few fish still around the dam and Marina.
