Hello Anglers,
We arrived at San Benitos Island around noon and were welcomed by some frisky yellowtail. Most of the fish were right up on the surface pushing small anchovies around. It made for a great visual for us to enjoy. The grade was good ranging from 18-30 pounds. The hot jigs for today were the blue/white 6Xjr, sardine pattern 7X, and a relatively new jig that worked well for us this year, Sea Strike 33 heavy in the banana split color. If you are booked on an upcoming trip, stock up on jigs because the yellow are bitin'! Weather is awesome. JUSTIN
