Yeahh! The fish are finally starting to bite. Today we see blue fin and yellow fin tuna biting in local waters. I have two charter groups who are looking for people to help fill trips.
The first is a two-day departing on Aug. 22nd, fishing the 23rd and 24th if you are interested in fishing with a great charter group on the Apollo please contact Steph at (805) 708-5276. for details.
The next trip looking for some people is:
2 day trip will be September 12-13 (departing the night before). This outing is limited to 16 anglers. The unusual part of this trip is half the anglers will be fly fishers. If you conventional fish, this means you get the stern to yourself as fly rodders like the sideways drift of the boat and stay on the windward side. Fly rodders are the first in on the slide but based on past averages, conventional will still out-fish us 5 to 1. Extra fly rods will be aboard if you would like to try.
