The San Diego on a three quarter day trip has called in with 10 bluefin tuna in the 15-20lb range. It is recommended by the crew to use 20-25lb fluorocarbon leaders. The San Diego departs daily at 5am for offshore tuna trips. Captain Greg Gawitt on the Pride returned from a one and one half day trip this morning with 78 bluefin tuna for seventeen anglers. BLUEFIN UPDATE! 1:00pm Captain Ryan called in from the San Diego's 3/4 Day trip. They went offshore looking around, and so far have 19 Bluefin Tuna onboard! He'll be going back offshore over the weekend and into next week.
