Report for Friday October 28th. We had 19 anglers depart this morning from our landing (Ventura Sportfishing). We fished shallow up the front side of Santa Cruz.. awesome fishing for big chucks and reds. We limited out at noon and finished the day drifting for halibut. No flat fish, but a great day anyhow.. the weather was awesome, flat and warm! Looking forward to this weekend!

Captain Jesse just called in reporting amazing weather and great fishing so far today. Halibut, Bass, Sheephead, Whitefish, Red Snapper, Sculpin.. virtually everything biting! They are almost done for the day, but he wanted to let everyone know they are OPEN PARTY for the next three days.. and that LOADS are ULTRA-LITE. Great time to come out!
