Stripers had a really good bite this week at Lake Skinner

This past week was another good fishing week at Lake Skinner. Once again, we had happy anglers catching their limits of Stripers over by Launch Ramp 1 and Launch Ramp 2 areas. The best baits were PowerBait and trout mallows.

Some of the anglers have also been catching catfish in the coves using nightcrawlers and plastics.

The next stocking of trout well be December 1.

This week at Lake Skinner the trout season began and is doing well. Anglers have been using our trout mallows that we carry at the store and a variety of PowerBaits also sold at the store.
