The fishing was decent for Salmon for most of the anglers who worked from the Black Buoy to the Eastside of the Soquel Hole. The best areas were from 36'50/121'57 to 36'50/12153. The fish were caught from 80 to the bottom so you have to work the gear and look for bait balls. There were some more 30 pound Salmon caught today so make sure you have your gear in good condition. The best bet was to troll Red Krocodiles, Green Kajikis, Krippled Anchovies, or Watermelon Apexes. There are some Silver Salmon out there so check your fish when you get them to the boat. The water was flat calm all day long today. The Halibut is starting to pick up with a few fish being caught near the Harbor and near Capitola. Rockcod fishing was good near the Mile Buoy.
