Texas Fish Report

Good Morning Folks:

We finally have reception and are able to send E-mail's. The Trip went well and now we are on our way to Cabo. The weather is nice and so far so good. We spent the trip at the Island . We found fish from 60 pounds up to 236 pounds. The bigger fish came in the morning right at daylight. We managed to hook one to three nice size fish each morning. The afternoon found mostly the smaller grade of tuna being 60 to 100 pounds.

We had three days in which the squid on the kite brought fish over 100 pounds and up to 220 pounds. Conditions changed and moved us up the Island for similar fishing with the Bigger fish once again in the morning . As the trip went on the sign of fish got better we picked at decent size fish untill the end. An estimate of 12 fish at or over 200 pounds and quite a few nice fish in the mid to high hundreds. It was a trip in which you had to be in the water when the big fish swam by. If you cast out after they were hooked or caught you were too late. I am going to send some pictures of the people that got lucky and hooked and landed some of the nicer size tuna.
