Upper Lake WATER TEMP: Low to Mid 50's
Lower Lagoon WATER TEMP: Low to mid 50's
The Department of Fish and Game stocked the West Ramp of the Upper Lake with 1200 lbs of Rainbow Trout.
Striper anglers are still having trouble locating hungry stripers in shallower waters but a handful of anglers are still snagging a few on ice jigs near the floating rest rooms in the fish arm. The largemouth are biting throughout most of the lake and still getting shallower. Robo Worms and night crawlers have been great baits bringing in loads of largies. The lagoon is still a great place for anglers to try swimbaits for the bigger largemouth. The catfish are still biting around the buoy line but the afternoon bite seems to be better.
Most of the trout have escaped the west ramp marina and headed out into deeper waters. Anglers have been looking for trout around the Kong Island but still coming up short.
