THE 2012 POT OF GOLD HALIBUT DERBY CONCLUDED ON SUNDAY DESPITE THE RAIN AND ROUGH SEAS WITH 3 HALIBUT CAUGHT IN THE FISHOFF AND OVER 90 IN THE TOURNAMENT OVERALL!! DAVID GRIMALDO FROM BUENA PARK, CA LANDED A 14.13LB TO WIN THE $2460 POT! 2ND PLACE $892 WENT TO TOM COLBERT FROM GLOBE, AZ WITH A 7LB AND THE ANNUAL PASS WENT TO DAVID AKAMINE FROM TORRANCE, CA FOR THE MONSTER 39.2 LB HE LANDED EARLY ON IN THE TOURNAMENT. CONGRATS TO ALL ON YOUR FANTASTIC CATCHES!
The Native Sun is back on for local 3/4 day fishing 6am-4pm daily for $58..except for Wide Open Wednesdays! Wednesdays only when you prepay you ticket for the 3/4 is only $50!!
The Native Sun is also running Fri and Sat night twilight trips for $42 6:30pm-midnight! These trips are a blast and they have been turning in great sand bass and sculpin counts!
The Black Pearl is running 1/2 day local fishing trips for rockfish, snapper, salmon grouper and halibut. 9am-3pm daily for $40!!
The Liberty is online for full day Catalina fishing daily from 5am-5pm for $65 and Friday are Fishing Frenzy on full day when you can get your ticket for $55 with your PREPAID reservation
