Today's report for May 5th.. 3 boats and 72 anglers caught rockfish, sculpin and lingcod. Quality was good said captain Mike Mings and Greg Ewart. Local fishing was a solid pick of red snapper with grouper mixed in. Pictured here is Jim Mason of Ojai with today's jackpot lingcod aboard the Island Spirit.

Island Spirit made the run to Santa Cruz Island today with 35 anglers. They fished 120 feet of water catching nice chucks and sculpin. Not wide open, they worked for it, but a solid day non the less. Everyone came off the boat with nice fillet bags.. lets to it again! PACIFIC EAGLE departs at 5AM Friday morning for its limited load full day trip. Yes, bunks are included. ISLAND SPIRIT departs at 6AM Friday morning for a 3/4 day trip. Still plenty...... Read More
