The weather was great this weekend at Lake Skinner with temperatures in the 80's for the Temecula Balloon and Wine Festival. Successful anlers were catching a variety of fish.
Largemouth bass was the fish of the day, hitting on any the of plastic or live worms around Launch Ramp 1. Stripers were active for boats over by the dam. They were hitting on chicken liver. Catfish and Bluegill are slowly showing themselves over by the inlet and the dam. They are hitting chicken liver, mealworms, wax worms and live crickets.
Come in and tell us your story and have your picture taken, we are at the Marina store.
Photo: The photo this week is Andrea Cox with a nice 6 lb. Largemouth.
