Both the weather and the local fishing have been heating up here in San Diego!
The warming water temperature wakes up the bass bite, with the Calico bass biting at the local kelp, and Sand bass starting to make an appearance on the count. Barracuda have been flashing through as well, making for some fun fishing.
The bait barge has been providing some outstanding anchovies and sardines. Our pro staff here at the Fisherman's Landing tackle shop are always happy to recommend the new "hot" lures and techniques.
Bottom fishing remains consistent, with Rockfish, Lingcod, Halibut, Sand Bass, and Sheephead in the mix.
The Dolphin runs 2 half day trips daily, departing in the morning and afternoon. There are also twilight trips available Friday and Saturday evenings.
