White Seabass go off again for the local fleet! Mike Mings on the Pacific Eagle mixed it up with the rest of the sporty's landing 21 croaker and 13 barracuda for only 14 anglers. Average size today was between 18-25lbs with larger models in the 30's. Jackpot was a 35lb seabass caught by Dennis Gummerman of Ventura.

Great weather for surface fishing! Today we had our 3/4 day boat "Island Spirit" load up on log barracuda for the better part of the day. Jackpot was a nice halibut caught by Miss Kathy Clark. Pacific Dawn fished the outer islands for limits of quality red snapper. All three boats will be out fishing Wednesday.
