Largemouth, Striped Bass & Bluegill are the most active at Lake Skinner

This past week the temperatures have been in the high 90's and low 100's with some rain and high humidity.
Fish Reports:
Largemouth Bass: The Bass bite was very active this week. Caleb Kincaid, pictured above caught his first Bass using nightcrawlers in the middle of the lake. Another young angler caught a 10 lb. Bass using Senko/Fluke at the south shore.
Stiped Bass: Recent catches have been by the dam using chicken liver and nightcrawlers.
Bluegill: Bluegill fishing is slowly picking up but anglers are catching them by the Inlet on mealworms and live crickets. Catfish: Some catfish have been caught in Catfish Alley but the action is only fair. They are hitting on chicken liver. Trout: No report.
Next Stocking: 500 lbs. of catfish will be planted on 7/26/2012.
