Drew Card checked in from the Pacific Queen on Friday morning, "We're having a great start this morning. So far on our one day we have 41 Bluefin and 3 Mahi Mahi. We have beautiful flat calm weather, it is hot with a breath of wind. Anyway it is really nice out here, good fishing and good water. There are lots of fish around, things are looking up.

"We are chartered up this weekend, but there is plenty of room available for our trips next week. If you are interested in going fishing next week give Fisherman's Landing a call at 619-221-8500. Or sign up on our website www.pacific-queen.com."

Derew Card checked in from the pacific Queen on Monday evening, " We had a great day out on the water. We put together a nice catch. We got 77 Yellowtail, 46 Bluefin tuna and 5 Mahi Mahi. It was a really nice day out here, nice weather, great people. That Bluefin is an excellent grade, I'd say the small ones run 14 to 18 lbs. and there a some that are probably as big as 35 lbs.
