Hi Everyone,
Here is our weekly schedule for Newport Landing Sportfishing from Saturday July 7 through Friday July 13.
Overnight and Longer Trips Available:
The Amigo has open party overnight trips for:
Fishing July 10 (Tuesday) leaving July 9 (Monday) night at 10 pm.?? Limited to 16 anglers at $175.?? Captain Mike Thompson will be running this trip.?? Targeting yellowtail and possible albacore tuna.?? The Amigo's open party 2 day trip over the 4th of July had 15 anglers catch 31 albacore tuna and 48 yellowtail, good fishing for both tuna and yellowtail.??
The Aggressor has open party overnight trips for:
Fishing July 10 (Tuesday) leaving July 9 (Monday) night at 10pm. Limited to 20 anglers at $140.
The Ultra has an open party overnight trip for July 12.?? Departs at 9pm Wednesday (July 11).?? Limited to 8 anglers at $240.????
The Ultra also has a limited load extended ?? day trip departing Sunday July 8 at 6am returning at 6pm.?? Limited to 20 anglers at $110.?? Currently 6 spots open as of Friday July 6 at 3pm.
The Nautilus has an open party morning ?? day trip for tomorrow, Saturday July 7.?? Departs at 6am returns at 12 pm.?? Still quite a few spots available as of Friday July 6 (2:40 pm).
The Patriot will also have an afternoon open party ?? day trip for Sunday July 8.?? Departs at 12:30 pm returns at 5:30 pm.?? Currently have about 25 reservations as of 2:45 pm Friday July 6.
The Patriot will be running open party ?? day trips during the weekdays with the Nautilus running ?? day trips (morning, afternoon, and evening).
Bass fishing has been from good to excellent on the ?? day trips with lots of larger bass caught on larger sardine, both calico and sand bass.?? ?? day trips have been doing very well on barracuda and fair on bass fishing with an occasional yellowtail caught and many more seen.???? Yellowtail fishing is only going to get better and this bite could take off any day.
