Hey anglers,
We finished our 976-TUNA trip today with a little action--30 albacore for our efforts. We saw enough fish today to have a really good day, but unfortunately the fish didn't bite.
Greg Atkins from Santa Rosa had the hot trolling outfit today. He stopped the boat 6 out of 7 times!
The weather was great, with no wind and very little sea.
We start a series of 1.5 trips tomorow with Capt Kevin Ward taking the wheel.

Hey anglers, Today was our first day of fishing. We started 90 miles south of San Diego. We spent the day in that area and managed to catch 53 nice-size albacore. All the fish were over 20 pounds with some were over 30 pounds. The highlight today was having the Hoffman family aboard for the first time. They are all beginners. They each caught their first albacore and both Danielle and her brother Pat caught two fish each. It is always great...... Read More
