We arrived to Alijos Rocks at lunch time and it didn't take long to get our first couple of jig strikes on big wahoo. Just when it looked like it was heating up, the current stopped and this place all of a sudden looked like a desert. After making a few laps for nothing, thankfully the flow started again and we continued to have good fishing until dark. This was a good starter kit for the trip and the Merritt group is off to a great start. We will try to keep the ball rolling for tomorrow.

Hello anglers, Today we fished for yellowtail. We were able to stay busy through out the day. Most of the fish were very good grade(25-30lbs). The weather is still very good. We will be sliding down tonight and be on the Ridge tomorrow morning. Wish us luck...... Read More
