The Striper bite has turned on at Castaic Lake

The upper lake was stocked with trout on December 6th which really helped the Striper fishing at the marina. The best lures have been swimbait, Kastmaster, jigs and flukes. Some Stripers have also been caught in Necktie Canyon in about 35 ft. of water. The best spot for Largemouth has been mooring cove. Small crawdad and roboworms are the best bait to use at that location.
