We spent the day offshore looking for kelp paddies. There were only a few kelps to be had but they all had fish. The bulk of the fish were 12-20 pound yellowtails. Everybody had some action before the weather started getting choppy and we called it a day. JUSTIN

The Excel says albacore fishing is scratchy

Not much to report here, albacore fishing is scratchy at best. The weather has increased to 20 kts. and a confused sea. It really makes it tough on us. Thankfully, this group of anglers are just happy to be out here with friends and family and that is truly what it's all about.
