Largemouth Bass have been the best bet at Lake Skinner

Water Temperature: Between 65 and 66 degrees
Fish Reports:
Catfish: Not seen this week, still too cold
Trout: The trout bite has slowed, best action is still on nightcrawlers.
Carp: There are a lot of them found in the coves. The best action has been with nightcrawlers.
Striped Bass: No action has been reported. Try Sardines, Chicken Liver or fresh Sardines. Last year fresh sardines produced the best action either by the Inlet or in the middle of the lake.
Bluegill: The big ones will be found in 10 ft. of water. Mealworms, nighcrawlers and some Rapalas should work the best.
Largemouth Bass: Some nice ones are being caught and photographed. The best action is in the Coves near the reeds. Try white jigs then move in with nightcrawlers, Roboworms, Sinko's and Flukes. Some fishermen have found that plastic frogs are also working.
