Captain Mark Oronoz of the Pacific Voyager just called in to report some excellent offshore fishing on their first of a three day trip. The first kelp of the day produced 48 Yellowtail between 8 and 12 pounds and he also saw a single jumping bluefin. They are approximately 85 miles from home and according to Mark the conditions are beautiful. He is optimistic about the rest of the trip, so stay tuned for more updates.

The Voyager departs Friday evening at 10pm for a one day trip fishing for Yellowtail at the Coronado Islands. The Tribute also has an overnight trip departing Saturday night for fishing Sunday. Both boats still have plenty openings. The New Seaforth has live squid for bait and had very good fishing on both 1/2 day trips for Rockfish, Bass, Sheephead and Lingcod. Yellowtail bite again!

The San Diego's captain Ryan Bostian radioed in another outstanding catch aboard the 3/4 day boat today. His 51 anglers landed 70 Yellowtail and 5 Calico bass. Friday's trip departs at 5:30am and has plenty of openings. The Pacific Voyager had a 3/4 day charter with 19 anglers catching 31 Yellowtail and 10 Calico Bass. The New Seaforth has live squid for bait and had an excellent morning 1/2 day trip with 23 anglers catching 53 Vermilion rockfish and 149 mixed rockfish....... Read More
