The water temperature is 74 degrees and the water level is up.
Striper: The Stripers have boiled in the early morning hours. Fishermen are starting to get some action on chicken liver along the southshore to the northwest corner. Umbrella rigs and deep trolling have worked best. Small Stripers are hitting in the East Bay on small top waater lures and flies.
Bluegill: Are going strong in the East Bay coves. The best bait are crickets, wax worms and mini jigs.
Largemouth Bass: Have been hitting swimbaits, all the normal plastics and Alabama rigs.
Catfish: The Catfish bite has been heating up nicely. They have been going after chicken liver and some lures. They are a "hot catch" and hungry. They can be found at Ramp 2 and all the usual Catfish coves.
The next stocking of Catfish is ln May 30, 2013.
