John Woodrum called in with this report from the Pursuit. "We had very good fishing at Catalina Island today. We ended up getting 52 Yellowtail today. We had a decent take on the today, but at the end of the day they went 'wide open'.

"We leave every morning at 6:00 AM out of 22nd Street Landing, fishing Catalina Island. We are the 1st boat out every morning." If you'd like to go fishing on the Pursuit call 22nd Street Landing at 310-832-8304.

"We ended up with 50 Yellowtail today, 15 Barracuda about 35 Calico Bass with some Sheephead & Blue Perch to go along with everything else. It ws excellent Yellowtail fishing today they were just boiling around the boat. We are leaving tomorrow at 6:00 AM. The Pursuit will be leaving everyday.
