We had a nice first day of fishing.?? The catching was a little slow, how ever we had steady action throughout the day.?? We saw lots of breezing yellowfin tuna that were unwilling to bite.?? The fishing highlights of our day included a good stop on a kelp for some nice yellowtail and a couple of good stops on yellowfin tuna.?? We saw plenty of whales and had excellent weather.?? We are running south to fish yellows tomorrow.?? Keep your fingers crossed for thr q anglers.?? Thanks for reading our report.

We continued the catching campaign with more coastal fishing action. The day started off very nicely as crew member Tim Walker decked a 40+lb Yellowtail in the wee hours of the morning. This dandy of a yellow was followed by a 30+lb yellowtail landed by Carlos Fernandez. As the morning continued we enjoyed a solid bite on the yellowtail from 15-25 lbs.
