With seasonal weed growth coming on, anglers may need to adjust their methods. When fishing for bass, swimming jigs or lipless crankbaits are a good option to avoid snags. Be sure to tie good knots. Use your rod tip to help guide your line through the weed beds. Don't avoid the weeds as you could be avoiding a good day of fishing.
