Capt John called in from the Pursuit out of 22nd Street Landing with this report. "We fished Catalina Island. We ended up with 11 Yellowtail. Five of them were 20 to 25 lbs. We also got a lot of Calico Bass, Sheephead & Whitefish. We got a steady hit on the Barracuda all day long.

John Woodrum called in to give this report for fishing aboard the Pursuit. "We fished Catalina Island. We had very good fishing here today. We had 70 Calico Bass. There was very good Bass action today. We released 150 and we kept 70. We ended up with 41 Barracuda, 66 Sheephead, 44 Opaleye Perch, 125 Blue Perch, 50 Whitefish, 32 Rockfish & 5 Sargo. "The Yellowtail bite has been pretty consistent over here. We had a few Yellows today with the live squid, some Barracuda and good Calico Bass fishing with some nice quality.
