We made a few drifts for reds and lings today to round out our catch. With a little luck we should be back to San Diego at 0545 tomorrow. Many thanks to Seeker Rods and everyone who made the trip this year. Everyone did a great job on the fishing end, with limits of beautiful yellowtail, 135 mixed tuna, bunches of big calico bass, and a few halibut and Dorado. 6-30-2013Let's get caught up on what's going on. We spent a day at the island catching big calico bass, releasing them back to bite again, along with a few big halibut we kept. With all the great reports from the bluefin grounds we thought we were going to run back out there for a few days and do some business.
