TODAY'S FISH COUNT: 1 boat and 30 anglers..
300 (limits) of Rockfish, 24 Lingcod & 8 Sculpin.
Today we had the Island Spirit out on its Tuesday "Lingcod Special" with 30 anglers. Captain/owner Greg Ewart put his anglers over the top of a productive spot, hauling in 24 lingcod up to 22lbs. Jackpot fish was caught by Pete Banks of Oxnard (pictured here). After catching lings, captain Greg moved in a bit shallower and loaded up nice rockfish before calling it a day. The weather was gloomy but otherwise great.. flat calm and windless.
