Captain Mark Pisano called in today with an update on the fishing conditions at the Alijos Rocks. We have had some good fishing for Yellowtail and a nice pick on the Wahoo. The water looks great and we are expecting the Yellowfin Tuna to show up soon.

6-17-2014Hello again from the independence. Here is what we know. We visited our night time yellowtail spot last night and had a fairly successful night catching premium yellowtail. 88 of those big yellas hit the deck before daylite. After daylite it was just a pick on the yellowtail, as they were not playing any more. We had a few more chances at some Wahoo, but could only tag a few.
