This past week at Castaic Lake showed improved bites from Catfish and Largemouth. Big Catfish have been coming out of Elizabeth Canyon and Utopia Cove on Mackerel and Sardines. The Largemouth have been biting in the early morning and late afternoon on worms, mainly. Many anglers have been having luck around Hawk's Nest, the shoreline, and Coash Cove. The Striper bite is still holding up and boils continue to be seen throughout the day. Hot spots include the marina and Elizabeth Canyon. The water level is still dropping about a foot a day and cut at 1395'.
