The Salmon are still being caught in the Soquel Canyon by the few anglers who have been trolling for them. The scores ranged from 0-3 fish a boat today. Most of the fish were caught 70-140 feet down. There was a few Halibut caught in Capitola in 45 feet of water. There were a few Seabass caught in Capitola in 50-80 feet of water. The Rockcod fishing was good up the coast. The Albacore water was windy but it may lay down in the next few days.

8-21-2007The fishing for Salmon was the best bet today for the anglers who went fishing today. The scores ranged from 1-3 fish a boat. The anglers worked near the Soquel Hole at 36'51/121'55 and 36'52/122'01. The Salmon were caught 80-120 feet down. The Seabass were hiding like ghosts today so there were no reports.
