Good morning folks. After weeks of looking forward to this trip and a exciting travel day down. We found that timing is everything. A disappointment was about all we got from Alijos rocks. Between the sharks and the fish on small flyers there was not much else we could do.
With the sign from the first day we had hopes for the next and that evaporated early and left us moving all over the rocks and trying different spots for very little. We did get a few wahoo and twenty some tuna for the jackpot but all in all it was not what we have come to expect from the Rocks.
Phase 2 the backup plan has at Cedros today and we are hoping for action on this nice fish up here. With the Guadalupe permits available that is another option. We will see how it goes today. After the first let down we put aside the visions of grandeur and are hoping for something to pull on. We will report again tomorrow
