Excel Arrives At Hurricane Bank

Capt Justin checked in from aboard the Excel from Hurricane Banks, we arrived here yesterday. There has been a pretty good sign of fish around, the ones we have been getting so far have been from 100 to 180 pounds. We do have 2 cows onboard with Bob Busling got a 201 lbs Yellowfin and Dave Sanders got a 274 lber on the chunk. Most of the fish have been biting early in the morning around 4:30 to 5:30 am, seems to be when they swim through. The last couple days has had a steady sign of fish around, overall grade of fish is nice. Hopefully, this will be the same for the next few days and we keep this up. The weather has been nice and eveyone is doing good, we will check in again in the next day or so.

Captain Justin Fleck called up this morning with an update from the Big X. We departed today on a 17 day ultra limited load 18 passenger trip. We got a nice load of boat and cleared the point by 10:30 AM. We are pointed towards Hurricane Bank and we will update you again soon....... Read More
