Snow and wind kept many canyon visitors in their cabins or tents but those who spent time on the creek were rewarded with a solid bite on rainbows using red salmon eggs, yellow panther martins or mealworms. The South Fork is due for an Alpers plant this coming week, always good news for local anglers.
