The fishing for Albacore was slow for the anglers who worked near the Guide, 601, and straight out. The best score from Santa Cruz was a boat who fished 36'41/122'29 and 36'42/122'27. The anglers had warm water up to 61 degrees and ended up with 5 nice Albacore. There were scores of 0-2 fish from 36'51/123'03, and 36'40/123'05. There was a report of a good bite up above at 37'24/123'18. The Halibut have moved in on the north coast and there were some big scores of fish in the 15-30 pound range. The anglers have been working from 4 Mile Beach to Davenport. The Salmon was slow today with no reports. The Rockcod fishing was good near Davenport and Natural Bridges in 80-120 feet of water. The water was flat calm all day long.
