East Walker River Fish Report

by Nor Cal Fish Reports
12-12-2012

The East Walker is still running at its typical winter flows of about
23 cfs right now and probably will be around that for the duration. The pressure is still pretty light but the weather has been good and that's bringing a few anglers out to play. Most of the folks we've been talking to have been having 20+ fish days. The best time of day to fish has been from about 10am to 3pm or so. Small midges have been the best thing going but there's also been some pretty good dry action as well. Patterns to try include flashback emergers, disco midges, san juan worms, top secret midge, micro mayfly, blue dun, blue winged olive, parachute adams. Keep 'em small for the best success. www.kenssport.com (760) 932-7707
