For us aboard the mighty Q-105, October 2nd marks the beginning of our fall 10 day season. Our 1st trip of the season brings us the annual charter by the San Diego Fire Department and a few of their friends. After a fairly long visit at the San Diego bait receivers, we cleared Point Loma at about one in the afternoon. We are headed south with very nice weather for an unknown location, still far away from Albacore land. Tonight was Cappy's cheddar basil stuffed chicken for dinner and all plates came back empty. So until tomorrow, good night from the crew of the Q105 - Joe, Cal, Eric, Travis#1, Travis#2, Tim, Cappy, and big John

We almost turned around to fish S. Martin yesterday afternoon as the weather wasn't all that great, but a report that predicts the weather to be coming down kept us rolling. It was about half right. The weather was definitely good enough for working in, but the Albacore schools that we hit did not bite worth a darn. Scratched a few nice ones (15) and will be in at the dock tomorrow at 0700 hours to unload....... Read More
