Last night was absolutely beautiful. We spent the night anchored and woke up to biting yellowtail. We didn't wake up too early though. It was a thing of beauty - everybody was so relaxed that nobody started fishing until they had enjoyed a cup of coffee and breakfast. Once that was all taken care of, the first person to drop a jig instantly hooked a yellowtail and then fishing went from a relaxed pace to game on. After we finished our yellowtail fishing at around mid-morning, it was time to get trolling and see if we could scratch up a few more Wahoo for the trip. Wahoo fishing was a little on the tough side, although we managed to a capture a few and we did manage to inadvertently release more than a few. Now that that is all taken care of, we are looking forward to tomorrow, as it will be a day of nothing but goofing around. Tomorrow we will be up the coast fishing for calico bass, halibut, and other miscellaneous species that want to play. We will be enjoying some of the forgotten species that the Baja coast has to offer. Until then, wish us luck ??? Q105 crew out.
