Texas Fish Report

This morning we were happy to be awoken surrounded by big dorado. What a way to start the day, many anglers didn't even have a cup of coffee before we decked a nice Dodo. We then began the hunt for more dorado and wahoo. We managed steady action all day on dorado and wahoo. Mixed in with the dodo and wahoo were Marlin. Not just some marlin but tons of marlin. I think it's safe to say everyone spent their fair share of time pulling on a marlin, or two or three. The ocean around here is full of life, everywhere you look you see whales, porpoise and marlin. One angler said it looked like an aviary for pelican and frigates around here. When all was said and done, we had an action packed day of big dorado and wahoo mixed in. The weather is fair, the wind is blowing a little more then we would like, but it is definitely manageable. We are looking forward to more of the same tomorrow. Cappy treated us to a pork loin with his apricot glaze that is one of his best creations yet. Well, I see a few dorado coming up under the lights so I'm off. Keep your fingers crossed for us.
