Commander Off To A Good Start Today

Capt Mark Gillette checked in from the Commander, we decided to go to San Clemente Island and had 40 Yellowtail on the deck. We did get run off by the Navy, but the told us we could return in about 4 hours. We will head back around 2:30pm, we have a great group lady anglers aboard for this 1.5 day trip. We are now fishing for rockfish to pass the time until we return to the Yellowtail grounds. We will check back in again a little later with a trip wrap up.

3-27-2015Capt Steve checked in from the Commander as they returned from their 1.5 day trip to San Clemente Island, we did have some tougher conditions and unforseen circumstances. We had a medical emergency with an angler and had to have them airlifted from the boat via helicopter and after that were able to fish for about another hour.
