Today we fished a half day of coastal YT fishing. We found good sign of fish, but lack of current seemed to keep the YT bite from breaking wide open. We had a relatively steady pick of nice YT from mid morning to late afternoon and managed a pretty good score. The weather is still great and we are really enjoying it. We hope to keep traveling up in beautiful weather.

As we worked our way north we managed to round up a few wahoo and YT. It was scratchy fishing most of the day with a couple fish here and a couple fish there. The weather was beautiful, which is always a big plus. In between drifts and jig strikes, we had a good poker game going, which is always a favorite among the passengers. We had another good day on the tuna grounds. We located a school fairly early in the morning and soon had a few nice ones on the deck. Cynthia Johnson showed the boys how to do it landing a big fish that tapped out at 199. We picked away at the big tuna the rest of the day and really enjoyed the grade of fish we found.
