Water temperature was 83F. Fishing at Castaic is good. The stripers have been boiling good in the mornings at the bouy line and in front of west ramp and off c point. The largemouth bass are biting good. Most largemouth are being caught on plastics in 5 to 30 ft. The catfish are biting mackerel and nightcrawlers in 30 to 75 ft.

Bass: Good, Average size: 2lbs
Bluegill: Fair
Carp: Good , Average size: 20lbs
Catfish: Good , Average size: 8lbs
Crappie: Poor
Redear: Poor
Trout: Poor

Water temperature is 77F. Fishing at Castaic is good. The stripers are still boiling bit it has slowed down a bit. Most the boils have been in the mornings. The bait bite for the stripers has been fair. The largemouth bass have been biting on plastics in 5 to 30 ft. The catfish bite is good with some good ones being caught in the last week.
