Freedom Gets 112 Yellowtail Today

Capt Jeff checked in from the Freedom to let us know that the fishing conditions for the Bluefin Tuna was pretty tough today. We managed to get 3 Bluefin this morning, we did not see many fish around with the changes in conditions. We decided to go and try and get some Yellowtail and that worked out pretty well for us, we ended the day with 112 Yellowtail and 15 nicer grade Bonito. Real good fishing all in all, the weather is really nice as we head home. We are sold out for the weekend and have some openings starting on Monday, give 22nd Street Landing and reserve you spots.

Nick from the Freedom checked in to let us know the fishing was a little tougher today, the current was pretty strong and we had to work at it. We did end the day with 49 Bluefin Tuna, this morning the flatfall was working good. In the afternoon it was the flylined bait with sardines. When you come down we recommend some 25 lb flourocarbon and today it was the smaller hooks that got bit the best....... Read More
