Fishing at Castaic is good right now.The stripes fishing has been very good.There have been some good boils in the mornings.Guys have been catching limits of stripers on topwater and jerkbaits.

The largemouth bass are starting to school up and attack shad.Most bass are still being caught on weedless plastics but are starting to bite reaction baits pretty good.The catfish has been slow.

Fishing at Castaic is fair right now.The striper fishing has been slow.Most stripers are being caught on sardines and shad pattern reactin baits.The largemouth bass fishing has been good.The largemouth bass are spawning.Most bass are being caught on senkos and roboworms but fisherman are catching them on reaction baits and site fishing also.The smallmouth bass are biting fair on reaction baits.
