Texas Fish Report

Fishing at Castaic is getting better right now.The water level continues to come up consistently. Anglers are catching stripers on cutbait and lugworms by necktie canyon and the buoy line first thing in the morning. The largemouth bass are chasing shad in the mornings so Senkos and weedless plastics are some good baits to throw. Not too much action has been going on with the catfish bite this week. As the temperature increases the catfish action should improve.
