Captain Tino Valentine called in with an update from the Freedom out of 22nd Street Landing in San Pedro, CA. We caught 19 Yellowtail (up to 25 pounds), 1 Halibut, 29 Calico Bass (up to 8 pounds), 200 Calico Bass (released) and a couple Bonito. Today we fished at Catalina Island we stayed close due to weather.
We have a charter tonight but we will be going to San Nicholas Island on our next OPEN PARTY trip fro fishing on Monday.

Capt Jeff checked in from the Freedom as they are headed for home with 17 anglers, we ended with 26 good grade of Yellowtail from 12 to 20 lbs. We got them of surface jigs on Yoyo jigs and flylined baits, the weather has been really nice. We are headed out again tonight with a light load, come on down to 22nd Street Landing and get in on this action. We depart every night at 10 pm,...... Read More
