Excel Headed Home After A Great Trip

Capt Justin checked in from the Excel as they are out on an 8 day Ballast Point trip, our internet has been down for a couple days and we were unable to call in the daily reports. Our group has had a great trip, we started out with wide open Yellowtail fishing from 15 to 25 lbs and everyone got their fill of them. We then headed to to Rocks and we managed to have some good Wahoo fishing and ended with 58 of them and then moved inside and were surprised with some good Yellowfin Tuna. After that we turned our attention to grouper fishing and managed a 35 of them as well as 20+ on the White Seabass. We are now headed up the line and should arrive back on Thursday morning, we may fish a little on the way home.

Hello anglers, After a long day of fishing offshore yesterday we decided to try a new area. It worked out very well as we fished along the coast for yellowtail. The fly lined bait with a half ounce slider was the ticket. The surface iron was also hot. We will be traveling up the coast tonight and be at Fishermans Landing tomorrow morning 0700. Hello anglers, Checking in from the yellowtail grounds. As soon as we put the anchor down it got busy and stayed busy for several hours. The grade of fish are excellent 18-35lbs.
